I've had to stop collecting because of her and even tough I haven't bought a new doll in at least a year, every time she comes into my room she complains and accuses me of having bought more dolls. She thinks my friends will find me weird and i'll never have a boyfriend because of it. Thankfully all my friends think it's cool and gush over my dolls whenever they come over. I think because i'm a girl and me and my friends grew up on barbie movies is the reason why they're more accepting than my mother. And for the boyfriend part, on our second date, I took him to the montreal barbie expo that was right next to our movie theater so we would have a calm place to talk and he found it really cool, so i'd admitted that I collected them and he also found that cool. I can't wait to move out so I can start collecting again
