Look at all these wild characters. They look like the cast of any anime except without magic powers or style.
Compare that to the Tekken roster, with it's cyborgs, and tech ninja's, and fighting bears, and Demon bloodlines and shit. Virtua fighter is just people fighting. The fighting is good, but the it's still just people. Even Ryu, the blandest fighting man in video games, has a fireball.
