>>8116705The Revoltech stuff is fun. They’re meant to be posed and played with. The joints look ugly, but you get used to it, especially when you have a group of them hanging out. Also, they have better articulation than most of the Monsterarts and NECAs, which makes up for some of the ugly.
Paint jobs are all fantastic. Only issue I had with any of them is a little scratching on the shaded area of Gigan’s hooks. After I knew to be careful around those, everything was fine.
They’re definitely smaller than NECAs and most Monsterarts, but they fit perfectly with MAs 1964 Godzilla, 1974 Mecha Godzilla, and 90s King Ghidorah.
I got all of mine way back when they were retail, and they were definitely worth the prices back then. The prices are a bit crazy now, so it’s really going to come down to how much you want a Showa group, or even just one figure. They’re definitely not perfect, but they’re really fun and I think my favorite kaiju figures in my collection.
