So I managed to extract the mesh of Sucy from the LWA game into Maya. I'm planning on dissecting it into a multi-part model for 3D printing and jointing up with Revoltech/Figma/Hobby Base/whatever joints, but I've never really done anything like this before. So aside from my obvious inexperience with Maya, a few questions:
1: Would I be better off going back into the game files and trying to import the "finished" model into Maya (specifically so I can make copies of the face, "pose" them in different expressions and then print them off as swappable faces)?
2: Anyone else tried doing something similar, any tips or tricks to doing it?
3: Any tutorials that might be useful for doing this sort of thing?
