There are a lot of games from the 4th and 5th generation that went for double their prices even just a couple of years after release because the prints were ran low and for one reason or another didn't get a second printing so for some when one of those listed issues happen to their Earthbound or Guardian Heroes, they were mighty fuck. Digital has the edge that once you have it downloaded to you system you can back it up far easier than decoding and copying a disc. If it's a xbox/PS system you have to crack the system itself for it to run, where uploading your digital copy would work fine because it has all the coding in it. Like I said I don't think either is perfect but neither has a case of being better, it's just a question of preference.
