I mean, theyre better in terms of sturdiness, and the 1954 one has more movie accurate proportions. Thats all it does better though. And as someone pointed out their 2014 one is more accurate since bandai sorta stylized the 2014 one, but other than that, every time the SHMA has better detail, paint, articulation. All their Godzillas have too soft of a sculpt, and some of them have glossy paint that makes them look cheaper.
Their shin is looking like itt'l be cool so far, but the tail's too short (Like all NECA godzillas) and the neck seems a bit too short. something about it seems off in general, it really doesnt have that bowling pin feel to it like the movie one does.
I mean dont get me wrong I love the NECA figures. They feel great to hold. I collect all of their Godzillas, and a bunch of their other lines. But to just blindly say their Godzillas are better than SHMA without giving an actual argument is dumb. But you're most likely trying to stir up shit in a kaiju thread for kicks.
