>>10933808I got it because I'd always wanted the very first version, it's actually a breddy okay set, aside from the FUCKING 1X1 STICKERS. But other than that, it feels like they didn't really change the actual design much from the early incarnations, which I consider a good thing. Kind of wish it had proper wing guns instead of those fucking stud shooter things too, but it is what it is. Also a tiny bit disappointed by the lack of bubble turrets, but I guess the Coruscant Guard larties aren't supposed to have them? I dunno.
The "windows" panels on the sides could also have been done much less floppily if Lego remembered that they actually already made transparent 1x4 smooth plates instead of spamming 1x2, but whatever.
Anyway, yeah, I say go for it. Ship always > walker. And as you said the colour scheme actually does look great. I'm usually a diehard metru red hater but it pairs very well with white.
