Probably going to be an unpopular opinion but sometimes lore is more interesting when its not all interconnected. Eternia is a planet of weirdos, they don't have to be made by a main character. They also don't have to be related to each other. Don't have to be reincarnations of ancestors or whatever.
Sometimes lore is better when the Scotts haven't gotten to every detail.
