Went to my local Disney store around Christmas to check out those Toybox figures. Was physically blocked from entering the store because I had the audacity to wear a gaiter mask instead of a surgical mask. "Those masks don't work." was the nebulous excuse. Neither do the surgical masks, but that's a discussion for /pol/.
Last time I went into the mall was in May and the Disney store was closing up shop. If you're turning away customers for arbitrary reasons, then those customers aren't ever coming back. Even after the pandemic ends, there's still the hard feelings. This is basic selling 101 type of knowledge that Disney just forgot. Likely due to their own hubris of being too big to fail.
