>>10239113the way I usually do tracks is a base coat of Tamiy a dark iron, then a rusty red very thinned down and sparsely applied (Hull Red or Linoleum Deck Brown or something similar), then just drybrush with a light metal color around some of the edges. then mud/dust/dirt to your hearts content (pic related were the tracks for my Meng Renault)
for what it's worth though, I like yours. once the whole kit is assembled it'll probably look less weird to you
