I remember us watching Comic Book Greats when I went to Kubert's and all of us laughing at his accent and how he tells Stan Lee that "kids think chains are cool." Even though we'd dunk on him we all still respected him for creating his own characters, starting his own company, and even through bankruptcy he kept fighting. I want to like Todd and consider him one of the most iconic comic creators in the history of the industry, but man the last few years his company has become so predatory. It's a deliberate focus on exploiting the customers that've supported him through the years.
Nacelle is banging out $30 figures with tons of accessories and no unnecessary drama with artificial scarcity or variants. All of Todd's lies and excuses for price gouging don't hold up when there's another company in his exact same position who aren't hiking prices.
