The smallest I'll go is probably 1:24. I figure the bigger they are, the more functionality they'll have
For example the Sherman has functioning track wheels that will engage the treads and the whole assembly will spin. The smaller ones sometimes have the static facade and normal plastic wheels under the model that make you throw up in your mouth a little.
Any brands that you can remember from the Australian store?

I've spent enough time with the 1:1 versions of some of these things that I can appreciate a model of them without building a tiny replica of them from plastic. I would love to but I don't think spending all that time away from the wife and kids would be fair to them. You can have a picture of my first attempt at 3D-printing a scale model as a treat.
