>>11135802>she doesn't have to be the big raptors, she could be the smaller onesTechnically, she IS one of the smaller ones. The only three species of Dromaeosaur that were human-sized or bigger were Achillobator, Austroraptor, and Utahraptor. Everything else was waist-height or smaller. Slash's alt mode is explicitly stated to be a Velociraptor, so unless she's one of those 'bots who does the whole 'alt mode size is not accurate to the animal/object it's based off of' thing, she should realistically only be about 2 feet tall in dino mode - literally an angry chicken.
Also for the record, Jurassic Park's raptors are the result of a number of changes made in production - in the original novels, they're actually Deinonychus, but Spielberg changed them to Velociraptors...then realized how small the real things were, and decided to make them unnaturally huge for the scare factor (and also shrank the Dilophosaurus in the process so that it wouldn't overshadow the 'raptors'. Believe it or not, the crossover Dilophocon's alt mode is actually accurately scaled to JP12's jeep mode, whether intentional or not). Utahraptor, Achillobator, and Austroraptor weren't discovered until AFTER the original JP movie was made (in the case of Uthahraptor, it was the very next year - and, coincidentally, in the very region Dr. Grant was supposedly doing his excavation in the opening scene of the movie).
But yeah, Slash is supposed to be pretty tiny. Core Class would be the ideal size for her.
