Even before all the stuff about the 62IQ actress who played her, the character just kind of lacked much substance. She’s like that one ‘Nam vet who compares every single thing to Vietnam, or some “oil war in a desert, and it’s like “Oh, yes, Daryl, please tell us more how eating an Oreo cookie reminds you of something about Vietnam, or Desert Storm, Afghanistan, or all the other ‘stans. Please, do go on, it’s so interesting that this is the only interesting part of your life and you always have to talk about it. Oh, and you say buying a car at a dealership is liek that one time in Afghanistan when you and your battle buddy ate an MRI? Oh, yes, I can certainly see how that would relate to that.”
