>>6579698I like the idea of using the NES colors, but I think it works best on the ones where they reinterpreted the sprites into these smooth paintjobs. These look really cool and almost like...art pieces. The ones where they actually tampo on pixels on a smooth sculpt (like the video game TMNT figures) look pretty bad to me. I don't claim to know how else they could have done those, cause the NES colors alone don't look that unique or different on the turtles, but yeah...the pixels look weird to me.
