>>6579304>Probably only played through the game once, maybe twice Certainly didn't spend more than 5, 10 hours tops playing it.I accuse that of you in both your post and not understanding the flaws it has, inventory/loot is such a mess most agree it made the first Mass Effect game's loot system look thought out and needed. Everywhere it drop more and more loot that is suck in a 7 rank cast system but you get it so often and so constantly it removes any fun of finding anything and just makes you wait till post chapter to clean out your inventory and keep what is standing as the good ones. And in multiple plays that gets even more worthless, by the second playthrough on the hardest difficulty I was wasting time just selling/melting most gear, merging weapons was pointless as well and really short of the element rock paper scissors it had going you could just spec what you wanted and go because all that gear did was speed up fights. The combat was also to flighty where spamming was just as rewarding as timing it right. It was nothing like other Platinum titles where when you hit that third or forth play you really felt improved in skills. In Devastation I feel I just learn how long and delayed hit boxes were with everything.
>many additions that the game doesn't tell you aboutYou say that like most games don't have that going on, even shitty cash grabs many times gave details, mechanics and easter eggs you don't catch the first time.
>didn't even bother exploring the mechanics at all.I did it was babies first Platinum, a polished turd that had a brand stamp on it.
You need to remember that some idiot here try to set the bar claiming it was a GOTY contender, it wasn't, it's not even close, War/Fall of Cybertron had more originality going on both in gameplay and art(love or hate that) I loved Devastation warts and all because it was as that one anon said a big old love letter to fans of the original series but it wasn't groundbreaking nor original.
