>>7716491Pretty sweet deal for sure. Trying to think of the best deal I ever got from a store, probably would be getting the Sabre Countdown and Firebase sets (at different times) for half price. Still can't beat the kijiji score I post way too much heh, but a close second to that one would be getting a Phantom at Value Village for $11 Cdn. Was missing a couple minor pieces and the figs, but I'd already bought one from TRU (during one of their 25% sales I think) so the figs weren't critical. One Mega replacement request later and I have two complete Phantoms, and the storage difficulties to go with 'em, heh.
>>7716500Really? I've played it too many times to count and I've never seen them quite line up, will have to watch more closely next time I guess. Was it only in the original version, my last few playthroughs were in the remastered version in the Master Chief Collection.
I regret sometimes not getting the Scarab, but I definitely wouldn't have the space for it, and sounds like I'm not missing too much in the end. Still, gotta love how just building something at a steady pace can add to a healing process eh. My mom has taken up building Lego and KO sets, it's been therapeutic for her vertigo.
Sweet find with that Scorpion too, fragile tread coverings and all eh. Would be nice if they released a throwback model with the improved part quality, for those of us who weren't too impressed with the last one we got and who missed out on the ODST Scorpion...
Speaking of tanks, anyone else find it odd that the only vehicle from the first Halo Wars to not get the Mega treatment to date is the Grizzly? Literally everything else, from the humble Gremlin to the giant Vulture to the barely-present Rhino has become a set over the years.
