>>9455896The figure is fine overall, but after some of the advances they’ve made with the SWBS and GI Joe Classified lines, some parts feel like a step backward.
This is as close together as the figure’s legs will go, for one. And then the change to the wrist layout is absolutely a throwback to early Hasbro ML, and not necessarily in a good way. The wrist breaks too soon, where it should break closer to the palm. It also means swapping hands between lines is impossible. there’s also some gapping that happens at the bottom of the neck joint, probably from cutting up the model without filling in spaces. And as much as the added range of the double-elbows gives, it means the cut joint in the upper bicep will always make for a mismatched look when you swivel it.
Additionally, the weapons are all soft rubber. I guess this is good, because Lynx’s hands are not designed in a way that she can really grip this gun correctly. But it’s weird because these weapons don’t need to be so soft that they warp as soon as you apply any pressure—especially at a $22.99 per figure.
