>>10187812I totally understand. I was mostly just collecting movie toys from ROTF because a lot of them were just cool toys rather than being essential Bayverse characters. ROTF Bludgeon was such a cool fucking figure, just a shame they made him with rubber tracks (which decay over time as all rubber does) and too thin hands. ROTF Mindwipe was cool as shit too, Hubcap... And then DOTM came out and I tried some figures from that and I could definitely feel the reduction in quality. I later read somewhere that Hasbro higher-ups had been upset at the ROTF toyline because it was too complex and elaborate for a "kid's toyline" so they wanted DOTM to get simpler and cheaper. That seems to eventually have spread downwards to generations, Prime, Cyberverse and all the other "aimed at kids" toys too. Haven't even looked at those most recent ones.
