There was the typical movie tie in releases, a couple of collectors tie ins, and that's it. Biggest movie of the summer and Mattel can't bring themselves to improve on the actual doll line. Remember Peaches and Cream Barbie? Remember how pretty that doll was? Fuck you here's a 65th anniversary doll in an ill fitted dress supposedly themed to that. I genuinely think Mattel just doesn't like Barbie anymore
