>>9801825Im just a cross board tourist, but you could try a clear coat of something. A high gloss lacquer would probably seal it pretty okay.
Be sure to test the spray on either a sacrificial toy of similiar material or on the sole of the foot, to make sure it doesnt melt the plastic.
Ive used picrel to spray over paper decals on vintage stuff (videogames, memorbilia, toys etc), to seal them and give them a more durable "water resistant" coating.
Whether it would block enough oxygen is unknown
