The chest piece was the harder of the two for me.
To remove it I have to use small pliers to unlink the larger rings where it connects to the front of the breast cup, and then to put back on I have to thread that small ring back into the hole and pinch it back closed with small pliers. I actually lost one of the rings doing this the first time around and just improvised with copper wire.
I've tried to remove it without having to unlink the rings but even with the head and arms off it feels like the chains will snap trying to maneuver it off.
I marked a couple of the connection areas where the rings need to be threaded through including the ring I replaced with copper wire on this pic.
