you can always get more money later somehow, it's just money
the price you pay if you don't buy it, is your feelings of regret, which is more valuable to you? the money or the avoidance-of-regret?
of course, if you have to pay rent or mortgage or whatever, you should do that first.
you can always "buy it back" from yourself, by say... working a little overtime if you can, or cheaping-out on meals for a while (the $5 Biggie Bag instead of the #1 Combo will bank a few bucks, eat some ramen noodles instead of ordering that pizza for delivery, etc eventually you will have earned it back)
or... it's LEGO
build your own train with the pieces you already own. that one might wind up being more special to you in the long run anyway
