>>10848430For the most part, Bakuten (1999 - 2005) and Metal Fight (2008 - 2014) had Hasbro import the TT stuff, albeit with a few sticker changes and/or colour changes. Some Japanese stuff never got ported over for both generations, but mostly the same.
Burst they changed the functionality "for the US market". But with Pro Series, they basically charged the import premium for locally released products we should've gotten in the first place.
For example, take Variant Lucifer.
It was released in Japan for 2420 yen ($15 USD) in 2020. It came with a STRING Launcher.
In 2021, Hasbro released their severely nerfed version, Vex Lucius, for $10 USD.
Then in 2022, Hasbro releases the original, Japanese Variant Lucifer, as "Variant Lucius", for $22 USD, which is close to the import pricing.
