Photos are often misleading. Even different focal length on a lens can make things look VERY different. This is why I reserve judgement until I see dolls in hand. And personally, I'm pretty pleased with G3 so far. I've bought a few and intend to buy more. The new ab joint is nice and I'm overall reasonably pleased with the quality of the outfits.
