>>10416707>fool proof: No, even the most experienced modelers can make mistakes that can lead to hours of repairs and reworking. I've accidentally trimmed pegs too short or mad essential connection too loose several times before, and that's without using the sometimes obtuse or flat wrong instructions that can be included in a kit.
>practice kit:Absolutely. I strongly recommend building a couple modern high grades of various complexity before setting off into musume. The dragon ball kits are pretty good simple kits that benefit from many tricks used in musume if that floats your boat.
>prepainted Hahahaha, no. Kits are colored, some have a couple prepainted parts, but the degree of paint some kits needs vs others varies wildly. Some need no paint, others need to be covered in it.
If you want to just skip straight to building the girls, start with one of the Chaos and Pretty girls. They are the simplest, and have lots of building options. Remember when taking a part off a sprue to cut in two places, once about a millimeter or two up the runner from the part, and then from the angle the nub is thinnest from. Clean up of sprue marks is done with either a small hobby knife or a series of sanding sticks.
