My Instagram account is just not as responsive as it used to be. A lot of email inboxes that have your username or email address will not load the account, so I've left them loaded automatically. With Google+, every time you log into the app, one email will be sent, and that should show you all your tweets. That may make you pause if you need to refresh. Might have to start using Twitter.
