Probably the most work went into the front third of the engine—lowering the headlight, new stack and dome, running boards, piping, air pump castings, etc. I cut another window into the cab and had a hard time getting it to sit right on the boiler. The new firebox is just piece of styrene bent over, lots of trouble fitting but all smooth, and the rear cab is scratch built. I barely touched the tender, just cut down the coal boards a little. So yes a lot more work on the front end and I think I went heavy with the paint.
