Either way, it's a way overpriced set. But the playset inside makes me kind 9f want to play with it and like it even without attachment. But I could buy the D&D set cheaper have have more fun with stuff to do, and the minifigures seem more soulful (even if still not yellow).
I'm more inclined to just MOC my own castle using my Creator 3in1 Castle set and $10 worth of gray Make-It Blocks from Dollar Tree. My recent $3 Make-It Blocks and spare parts Castle was a blast abd $497 cheaper than that LotR set. Abd it has play features, like a sliding secret back entrance and pulling a chain to bring down a boulder on top of enemies storming the gate. What's LotR have beside a too steep license tax?
