Help me remember a specific toy from my childhood, please.

This toy was from the early 90s, perhaps late 80s. The concept was simple. A toy car is loaded onto a plunger that you slam down on which launches the vehicle at high speed.
The theme was science fiction, and all of the vehicles are hovercars, and were very aerodynamic looking. There may or may not have been a racetracks involved.
The plungers were all brightly colored, and they had a happy meal or Burger King Kid's Meal (one or the other)promotion at one point.
