For anyone collecting DX ridewatches, how do you deal with turning them off for display?
The long peg is such a hassle that you have to snap open the two covers to get to the batteries, which begs the thought of "why not remove the batteries just like that", and the worst part snapping the face cover back in place. It's a severe design flaw to not have an on-off switch on these watches when they're even bulkier than lockseeds, and coming a year after gashats which also uses pegs only (except they're not as frustrating because they're thin).
At this point I'm just leaving the ridewatches turned on at all times, since I have plenty of batteries to spare, but of course that will have to cut down on the number of ridewatches I plan to buy in the future.
