1) if you’re signed in on YouTube, select the videos to be ‘not interested’ for content you don’t like and ‘do not recommend channel’ for users you don’t want to see in your feed.
2) While on the mobile app search for videos you don’t want the algorithm to catch while in Incognito mode, switching back to watch videos of content you want in your feed.
It’s annoying to prune one’s feed but it’s necessary if you don’t want stuff recommended to you that puts you off. You have to actually specify this shit for the algorithm to work for you. Hope that helps.
