One of them was talking with a clearly actually autistic guy about being upset when people call a particular livery X when really its name is Y even if the name has become X by the mere fact everyone calls it that. There was a single exhibitor that wasn't older than 55 and he was just showing 3D printed capeshit which was a bit meh to say the least. I decided I'll exhibit on the next one to try and change the age demographic average by more than a decade because jesus christ. Lots of very very cool train setups though, I haven't got the space or the money for trains like that, but it's impressive seeing the huge setups some clubs build. Unfortunately it does reflect on the same people you meet at the two remaining local hobby stores; I'm 30 and even though I've been coming for a decade I just never see anyone my age unless it's a small kid brought by their dad
