That's actually a fairly clever retool. If they had been willing to change up a few more parts, they probably could have gotten pretty damn close but as it stands, Straxus doesn't get much for figures so this is good enough. Honestly, the only other thing I REALLY wish they did was remove the shoulder pylons. Would have been fairly easy since they aren't integral to the alt mode holding together.

What I would really want is a 'Generations' subline focusing on characters who never had their original altmode represented. Like Straxus, Jhiaxus, Alpha Trion.

I love Straxus' altmode because it does not make any concessions.

And Jhiaxus... he never had a proper toy. Not even a third party one.
