But if you want continuous narrative development where the status quo completely changes every 8-10 episodes, the good show is the CGI one. Even though it sometimes LOOKS like a video game, it never feels like He-Man or Kobra Khan is being puppeted by someone going for a run to unlock all the characters as fast as possible. It's actually good for a toy commercial to feel like a sandbox with breathing room. KK and Webstor being friends and Kittrina existing and hating Webstor/being in love with Battle Cat actually inspires me to want more toys than the "introduce vintage toys at a fast clip, give most nothing to do but silent cameos in battle scenes" strategy.
