I can fit more into a closet than i would normally, since plastic boxes need to be over-built and have large protruding flanges to not be flimsy. So i not only save way more space, they're easier to carry, switch around to find shit, stack more securely, and will survive earthquakes, tornados, and floods.
And despite being smaller, they can fit in large oversized figures by DCC and NECA.
So if you have the money, it's well worth the extra cost. Get separators too.
