On the cotton field I would add a mansion MOC, with a slave owner watching blacks working from his porch. You can make Django using Sand Blue Suit Bruce Wayne, but in this diorama, instead of freeing the slaves, he would whip them to work harder. Would make scenery more green, not every place in western needs to be a desert.
On the first one, get rid of water, so it's a proper desert, add come cacti, and a bigger gallows MOC, more similar to the ones seen in the movies.
