>>10092475Most of our collections center around the same ~200 characters from 84-87 done in various versions. And there's so many releases its hard to pose them and fit them on a shelf. People here are more familiar with TFs because they get more traction here than other lines, but its a general issue with mecha toys. Before TF was as huge a line as it became, I remember seeing JP mecha collections of Popy stuff that also became a clusterfuck of bricks in the early 2000's , or gundam model kits. Sentai mecha shelves also suffer from this. But personally I think clusterfuck shelves are appealing. they look like big hall of fame posters
These sort of images are prominent in both mecha and superhero art and I think we're subconsciously drawn to imitate that.
