What i'm saying is that the rugged part is the part the blacksmith(or whoever makes swords for bonkles) didnt give a damn about, so it was left Kind of unfinished.
And also, i think that the hook facing backwards made more sense, since its easier(and probably more fight-realistic, cause it would not require you to put the sword above someone's head leaving yourself open for their attacks) to take off someone's mask from the chin area like that.
And, picrelated is what i have in mind, when i look at that sword.
