>>7543703 set) got away with this because they used 1930s offroad cars that were rather large. Generally it's hard to make modern cars in minifig scale because they will be too blocky, no matter what. Even SpeedChampions couldnt provide better headlighs and stuff like that. They went with stickers instead.
