>>10468935>it's buzzwords to correctly label my contrarian actionsI bet you think calling you a retard is a buzzword too.
>Is there really even a difference between a doll and an action figure beyond using more softgoods? It's basically two goods in one. They need to produce plastic molds for an action figure. They produce clothes for an action figure. They require custom tailoring to fit those clothes on an action figure.
So not only does it require more labor, it's more time consuming as well.
How much all of that actually costs, no one but Mezco and all the chinkshit wannabes know. They could be fairly priced. They could be overcharging. We, as consumers, don't know.
>McFarlane isn't a "bro company". It's a budget company. A value brand.Call them whatever you want, but fact is that McFarlane Toys is giving us more bang for our buck than Jazwares, Hasbro, Bandai, NECA, Good Smile, etc etc etc do. Brand new molds for 95% of their toys, they've increased articulation, improved engineering, and kept prices down for the sake of the consumer. They've also sold larger figures without forcing people to buy an entire wave.
There is no company who can offers as much for the money as McFarlane and that's what makes them a bro company.
You know what isn't bro? Companies charging over $50 and not giving you better paint, better engineering, higher QC, more parts, or anything of actual value than cheaper toys.
pic of soft sculpted shit, but at least they used spray apps. Check out how smooth it looks vs shitty low res prints that are only used to cut the budget on making the toy.
