>>7821749The only good figure in that 3-pack is Palpatine, being that he's the current best Palpatine figure to date, as it's hard to make his cloak work with cloth goods. He also has wrist articulation and interchangable force lightening hands.
As for the Luke, he's also got swivel wrists and could have been an ok-ish figure, but they fucked it up by giving him an action pose. His legs are sculpt so they always have to be splayed apart, making it difficult to stand. If you're gonna make a 5POA style figure, they need to be in neutral poses; action poses suck dick. And as for the guard, they sculpted a full body for him under the robes, but then made the robes out of plastic, rendering it all useless and making him impossible to pose or do anything. He's essentially a statue.
I only tolerated the 5POA figures myself when the line was going, but the line rarely had any worthwhile characters and it was all around disappointing. That aside they did produce the best Boba Fett figure in the 5POA line, he's currently the one I use for displays because of it. They 3D scanned someone wearing a Boba Fett costume to produce the likeness, really nailing the look of Fett's helmet.
