Just finished snapfitting my 30MS and girlpla in general. Overall, I have mixed thoughts. The build was pretty standard and simple. I’m impressed at how tight the joints are, but I wonder if these would benefit from using polycaps. Some of the joint choices are a bit questionable, especially for her neck—and the overall articulation isn’t great. I don’t supposed that this gets better with modern releases? She’s also just ever the slightest bit frail, which I hope to fix when I get around to painting her.
I figured that these were things to expect with the very first 30MS, but I’m curious as to how the line as developed. I have a Figurise Fumina waiting in my private warehouse, which I hear is a 30MS but in name, so I’ll find out first hand soon enough. I may still pick up that next P-Bandai release or some of these iDOLM@STER kits, too.
