The only media I ever saw of this line as a kid were the CGI web cartoons and never knew they made a 2D television series until years later that was apparently a continuation set in the same continuity and was an Isekai/ripoff of Digimon Frontier about human kids turning into the monsters.
The lore seemed like a mess and a lot of the source material was mistranslated, rewritten, or omitted on the English website, like the last few episodes of the CG webisodes where the guy from pic related turned black and died in a hurricane while the sage who created him stood by and watched, like they killed all the pre-existing main characters except for the villains, “Transformers: The Movie” style, to replace them with the shounen anime kids
