>>9223277>A big Pikachu in this line is exactly what the guy they gave the early Greninja figure to suggested -__- We already have the Figuarts Pika that nobody bought and tanked that line.This shits always been a problem in promising Pokemon lines and its so frustrating. Remember when Hasbro did the combat figures? I was so pumped when we got the Starter evolutions as nice big figures...Then wave 2 had giant Pikachu and Nidorino instead of Nidoking. We got the Legendary birds, Graveller, and Heracross but also giant Spinarak and Elekid. Johto starters instead of their evos. Just a frustrating line even though there's some decent figures that are still the best option for some of those Pokemon.
I seriously think a big problem that hurt Pokemon back in 2000-2002 was the lack of cool Pokemon being merchandised from gen 2. It was all babies and cuter Pokemon; you never saw Tyranitar or Houndoom or even the starter evos. Compare that to 98-99 where you had cooler Pokeon next to cuter ones on everything.
