Put some paint on the engine after doing some more work, starting to look vaguely like something passable. Most of it will be hidden by the engine cover and fuselage, but I will still weather it more before fitting. Exhausts won't be added until after painting because they will make masking a pain, and the rudimentary rocker arms will be largely hidden underneath what I think might be a return pipe (haven't looked at the engine properly but looks at a glance like it is running into the radiator). I'm running out of things I can do before scratch building the cockpit though, so I guess that will be my next step.
