You don't see me saying anything about the knees and other areas, because they're trying to be minimal and unintrusive.
The fact that Ryu can face toward me without looking hideos is alright with me. Lots of shit is ugly in the back and it's pretty easy to ignore, because it's just one side.
Gwen? It's intrusive EVERYWHERE and you have to pose it in certain ways and only look at it from a certain angle like it's a fucking optical illusion so it doesn't look that hideos.
Also, i had to look up a review of Ryu to actually know what you were talking about on his butterfly joints looking bad, because 99% of the pictures on /toy/ it didn't look bad... apart from his generic anime look.
Unlike Gwen, where almost every picture of her I can't help but think it's such a fucking waste that they articulated her that way.
