But over time you sort of become fond of or even want toys that necessarily aren't stellar, and Beast Wars is just generally fun. Maybe it's something to do with empathy and "hey this is a lil critter, a living thing", I was never much of a car guy so idk.

Emgo's reviews are consistent in their format, albeit he's a bit of a "you'll either love him or hate him" kinda guy, but I found his reviews useful and his cheer infectious. Micromasters are fun if you can still find them for cheap, SS86 has some great figures like Hot Rod, Kup if you don't mind his face, Grimlock, and Vertebreak in the Kingdom line has been frequently praised and loved.
