Does anyone have a particular toy that just won't stop breaking? Either accidents, faulty design, or manufacturing fuckups, it's that toy that just seems like it smashed a mirror in a previous life. Regardless, you keep repairing it because of sentimental reasons, or it's just too fucking expensive to replace. For me it's this guy.
>Head ball socket cracked out of package
>Shoulder ball sockets wore out very quickly
>Fell off shelf and broke shoulder spike
>Front bumper broke off at pin joint
>Ankle fell apart at pin joint
>Picrelated pin joint crumbled
I finally decided to order a junker for parts, which lost its front bumper and ankle as well. While I've been able to repair everything so far, there are spots where the finish got scuffed up in the process.
Also, is it just me or are pin joints bad juju? Especially when they have that fake ratchet behavior to lock them in place. It seems like a good way to put a ton of stress on what is typically a very thin section of material.
