I got started on a 1/72 AZModel Bf 109 G6.
Plenty of cockpit detail, close to the Tamiya zero, and well cast too, though not as delicate as the Tamiya. (Ignore the lost pedal that's been crudely replaced with plasticard, hopefully hard to see once everything's together.) After taking this pic I've also glued the fuselage halves together and there it sure ain't Tamiya level though, it won't eat a tube of filler for breakfast, but it will need a small amount almost all around.
Full colour instructions that seem quite good so far, with an extensive sprue map at the start. That's more necessity than virtue though, as there are no part numbers on the sprues themselves. Another short run-ish thing is that while locating pins do exist, they're quite rare. Definitive negative is that the sight is on the regular sprues, not a clear part, so that'll have to be seen to. The paint guide's nice enough to give the RLM numbers for everything.
